CHARIS BIBLE COLLEGE ASSISTED CORRESPONDENCE COURSE
VISION: Change the body of Christ’s perception of God by preparing and sending leaders to proclaim the truth of the Gospel throughout India, Vietnam and the world.
MISSION: Equip faithful men and women for the work of the ministry by teaching spiritual truths, imparting biblical knowledge, providing practical ministry opportunities, and grounding them in the message of God’s unconditional love and grace.
CHARIS INDIA CORRESPONDENCE
Charis Bible College India has 25 Charis-India students, who are Vietnamese and have studied via the online ‘Assisted Online Correspondence Course’ from within Vietnam. 12 of those students received their 1st Year Promotion Certificate on 9th July 2022, after having successfully completed their 18 month correspondence course under the Directorship of Paulraj Joseph, India. 12 New students started 1st year on Monday 13 September 2022.
Craig and Kim Younghusband, both living / working in Vietnam and graduates of Charis Colorado (2018), are helping facilitate these Charis classes. They’re active in their community, sharing the truth of Andrew’s teachings, as well as the love and kindness of Christ, with everyone they meet.
They are so grateful to Andrew Wommack, Don Crow and Barry Bennett, for the blessing of having had the Discipleship Evangelism Course (DE), the book ‘The New You and the Holy Spirit’, and the book ‘Did God Do This To Me?’ translated into both the Vietnamese and Hmong language.
They are also actively involved in a Ministry called ‘Kingdom Daughters’, and in teaching and spreading the good news of the Disciple Evangelism Program to key Provincial Leaders, who will in turn teach it to others. They’ve mentored a key group of local leaders, who are forerunners to reach their community for Christ. Everyone involved in this venture is passionate to not only share the Gospel, but to disciple followers of Christ who will also spread the Gospel and make a lasting impact.
Charis Bible College (CBC) India has locations in Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai. The first batch of students began classes at Chennai in August 2009. They are an official extension school of Charis Bible College of Colorado, USA which was founded by Andrew and Jammie Wommack in 1994. Andrew is a Bible teacher with a profound message emphasizing God’s unconditional love and grace. His television program, the Gospel Truth, broadcasts daily across America and around the world, changing the way the body of Christ sees God.
When Andrew launched CBC, he wanted it to be more than just a school of academics. He wanted a practical training program that would combine the academic study of God’s Word with practical ministry experience. Charis is fulfilling that vision.
Many people desire to attend Charis to answer a call from God and prepare for ministry. Others want to attend Charis to develop their own personal relationship with the Lord and be more affective at ministering to their loved ones and close friends. Whatever their motive is, it is guaranteed to be a life-changing experience.
Charis’ 1st year students spend their 1st year primarily in the classroom getting a strong, biblical foundation. Their 2ndyear combines classroom teaching with hands-on training in real ministry situations. This includes attending a two week missions trip, and attending and participating in IAG’s in which they gain experiential knowledge of teaching in front of a group
Charis offers the ideal environment for transformation, as the mind is renewed by the Word of God. For some this commitment has restored their lives physically and emotionally. For others, it has been the beginning of a new adventure with God, or the discovery of God’s call on their lives. God has called these 12 Vietnamese students to Charis, and there is already victorious testimony of change and renewal in their lives.
